The Travel Berkey, is the perfect companion for RV'ers, campers, and people on the go. It holds 1.5 gallons, and although it stands 18" tall, it can be compacted to 12" for travel. The small size of this Berkey, is a bit deceiving as it still fits two Black Berkey Elements, and can filter a full 2.5 gallons an hour. Whither you don't like the taste of your RVs water, or you are way off the grid and getting water from a stream, the Travel Berkey, is perfect for filtering your water, and giving you great tasting, safe water.

Black Berkey Purification Elements

Black Berkey Purification Elements are more powerful than any other gravity filter element currently available. In fact, we tested the Black Berkey purification elements with more than 10,000 times the concentration of pathogens per liter than is required by standard test protocol. This concentration of pathogens is so great that the post filtered water should be expected to contain 100,000 or more pathogens per liter (99.99% reduction - the requirement for pathogenic removal). Incredibly the purification elements removed 100%.
